Advanced Manufacturing for Metal & Glass Co. (AMG) was established in 2007 in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the name Advanced NAFCO. The company was wholly owned by the shareholders of M/s National Aluminum Factory Company (NAFCO), Riyadh, and operated under the leadership of Eng. Khalid Kashef, who served as General Manager of NAFCO from 1987 to 2006.

Through progressive work practices and a continuous commitment to meeting evolving market demands, Advanced NAFCO quickly gained strong recognition within the local market. The company successfully delivered several prominent projects across the Kingdom, including Al Subeaei Building, EPCC facilities, Mövenpick Hotel, Ramada Hotel, among others.

Initially, the company aimed to expand its operations across the GCC region and serve neighboring markets. However, following the global financial crisis of 2008 and its impact on regional markets, a strategic decision was made to refocus operations on the domestic market within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At inception, approximately 70% of the workforce operated under NAFCO’s sponsorship. Over time, all manpower sponsorships were transferred to Advanced NAFCO, and the company subsequently secured its own block visas, enhancing its operational autonomy and workforce management capabilities.

By the end of 2016, one of the partners expressed interest in acquiring full ownership of the company. In 2017, Eng. Khalid Kashef successfully completed the acquisition, becoming the sole owner. From 2017 through 2024, he continued to lead the company as both owner and General Manager.

Shortly after the acquisition, the company underwent a rebranding, transitioning from Advanced NAFCO to AMG Company, now widely recognized as AMG.

Since 2025, AMG has become a subsidiary of M/s Alupco, a leading aluminum extrusion company in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Headquartered in Dammam, with an additional manufacturing facility in Jeddah, this integration has significantly strengthened AMG’s operational capabilities and regional presence.

Today, AMG operates with a paid-up capital of SAR 20 million from its advanced manufacturing facility located in the Second Industrial City, Dammam, covering an area of 21,000 m². Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and supported by a highly skilled workforce, the company is capable of delivering large-scale production within tight schedules while maintaining the highest quality standards.

AMG has implemented a comprehensive Quality Management System, supported by continuous monitoring and periodic evaluations to ensure ongoing improvement and compliance with international best practices.

The company has built a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects across both government and private sectors. Its experience includes the execution of complex and high-profile developments throughout the Kingdom, such as universities, high-rise residential towers, commercial complexes, shopping malls, private villas, hospitals, airports, corporate offices, factories, and hotels.
