History

Advanced Manufacturing for Metal & Glass Co. was established in 2007 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, under the name Advanced NAFCO. The company was wholly owned by the owners of M/s National Aluminum Factory Company (NAFCO), Riyadh, and operated under the management of Eng. Khalid Kashef, who served as General Manager of NAFCO from 1987 to 2006.

Through progressive work practices and continuous adaptation to market requirements, Advanced NAFCO gained positive recognition within the local market. The company successfully completed several major projects across the Kingdom, including Al Subeaei Building, EPCC facilities, Mövenpick Hotel, Ramada Hotel, among others.

The initial objective of Advanced NAFCO was to expand its services across the GCC region and serve the surrounding provinces. However, following the global financial crisis in 2008, which significantly affected the GCC market, the owners of Advanced NAFCO strategically decided to refocus operations on the local market within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At the time of its establishment, approximately 70% of the company’s manpower was under NAFCO’s sponsorship. Subsequently, all manpower sponsorships were transferred to Advanced NAFCO, and the company later secured its own block visas, strengthening its operational independence and workforce management.

By the end of 2016, one of the company’s partners expressed the intention to acquire full ownership (100%) of the business. In 2017, Mr. Khalid Kashef successfully acquired Advance NAFCO, becoming its sole owner. From that time until 2024, Mr. Khalid Kashef continued to serve as the 100% owner and General Manager of the company.

During the first few months following the acquisition, the company adopted a new acronym, transitioning from Advanced NAFCO to AMG Company, commonly known as AMG.

From 2025 to the present, AMG Company has become a subsidiary of M/S Alupco, the leading aluminum extrusion company in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region, where its head office is located in Dammam, and with an additional manufacturing plant in Jeddah, ensuring its strong and unrivaled operational presence across the MENA region.

At present, AMG has grown to a paid-up capital of SAR 20 million. Operating in the Second Industrial City, Dammam, within a state-of-the-art facility spanning 21,000 m². Equipped with top-of-the-line machinery and supported by a highly trained and skilled workforce, AMG is capable of delivering high-volume production within short timeframes while consistently maintaining stringent quality standards.

The company has developed and implemented a comprehensive Quality Management System, supported by continuous monitoring and periodic evaluations to ensure ongoing improvement and compliance with international best practices.

AMG has established an impressive portfolio of completed projects across both government and private sectors. Its proven track record includes the successful execution of sophisticated works throughout the Kingdom, such as university buildings, high-rise residential towers, commercial complexes, iconic shopping malls, private villas, hospitals, airports, corporate offices, factories, hotels, etc.

AMG has further strengthened its market position through strategic collaborations with leading aluminum and glass manufacturers across the Middle East and international markets, reinforcing its reputation for reliability, technical excellence, and quality-driven delivery.
